The Art Library Advance Reservation Service

The Reservation Service will be available from Wednesday, 2 June 2021.​ ​ 

・Please see below if you wish to make a reservation in advance. If you don't make a reservation, please be sure read the Terms of Use for the Art Library Service and come to the library on the open days. You may not enter the library if the capacity is full.
・The service allows you to reserve a seat for viewing the materials at a specific date and time, not for reserving the materials.
・This page is not an Exhibition Reservation System.

【Available Days】​ 
Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays (except for national holidays).
 ・Please make a reservation at least 3 days before the reservation date.

【Available Time Slot】​  
First time slot: 11:00-14:00 (up to 4 persons) / Second time slot:14:00-17:00 (up to 4 persons)
・Please refrain from reserving both the first and second time slots on the same day. Please note that the second reservation will be automatically cancelled.
・Only the person who made a reservation is allowed to enter the reading room. Please let us know in advance if you need physical assistance. 
・Please note that you may wait until you receive the materials in the closed stacks and photocopy the materials because the Library is crowded around 14:00.

【Requests for materials in the closed stacks in the Art Library and the Annex】 ​ 
Up to 10 materials per day (up to 5 materials per request) / Requests: until 16:00
・In order to ensure a social distance, the available PCs are limited. We would appreciate it if you could search the materials you wish to read in the OPAC and print the search result details (not the search result list) at home, and bring them to the Library.
It will take more than 30 minutes to provide the materials in the Annex for you. Please note that the requests may not be accepted if it is difficult to carry the materials from the Annex due to bad weather.

【Photocopying Services】 ​ 
Up to 100 pages per day (up to 5 materials & up to 50 pages per request) / Requests: until 16:30 ※within copyright laws
・The photocopy machine may be busy just before closing time, so please submit the form as early as possible.

【Cancellation】​ 
・To cancel your reservation, please click the URL in the reservation confirmation e-mail.

【Privacy Policy】​ 
・Your personal information (name and contact information) will not be used for any purpose other than the advance reservation. However, please note that your personal information may be disclosed in the following cases:
1. In case we are asked to disclose the information based on legal grounds.
2. In case public institutions (such as public health centers) request us with justifiable reasons.

【Other Notes】​ 
・Please bring your own writing utensils (=pencils only).
・Reservations may be cancelled because of an emergency closing of the NACT due to bad weather or administrative instructions based on declaration of a state of emergency. In such cases, we will let you know via e-mail.
